Overview
Xago Contract Parking adds parking-contract management to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You maintain the parking facilities you operate and the products you sell in them, create a contract per customer with one line per product, and let the extension generate the billing periods that feed invoicing. Orders can arrive from an external webshop, and subscriptions can be converted into contract lines.
The main concepts

| Contract | A customer’s parking contract: header information (customer, address, emails, fees) plus its contract lines. |
| Contract line | One product on a contract, with price, quantity, dates, status and the parking facility it relates to. Lines are activated, cancelled, terminated or frozen individually. |
| Period | A billing period generated for a contract line. Periods are what invoicing works from, and the end date of a period is used when cancelling a line on a specific date. |
| Ledger | The historical, posted view of a contract line’s periods and amounts. |
| Product | A parking product that can be sold on a contract, with pricing, type, duration rules and optional facility or zone links. |
| Product type | A classification for products. |
| Parking facility | A car park or site, with address, capacity breakdown, zones, landlords, products and a picture. |
| Parking zone | A part of a facility with its own capacity and attributes. |
| Landlord | The party that owns or operates a facility. A facility can have several landlords, and a landlord several facilities. |
| Campaign | A time-bound promotion of selected products. |
| Waiting list | Customers waiting for a product that is currently unavailable. |
| Webshop order | An order received from the external webshop, with lines, periods and additional information, to be reviewed and converted. |
| Subscription | A subscription record managed by the extension, which can be converted into a contract line. |
How the pieces fit together
Section titled “How the pieces fit together”- Master data first. Define product types, then products. Create parking facilities with their zones and capacity, and link landlords to them.
- One contract per customer. The contract carries the customer’s details and fees. Each product the customer buys is a contract line, tied to a parking facility, with a price, quantity, start date and payment type.
- Activate the lines. An activated line gets billing periods when you run Update Periods, and Update Invoicing creates or updates the invoice-related data for them.
- Manage the lifecycle. Lines are cancelled on their default expiry rules or on a chosen period end date, terminated immediately, or frozen for selected periods. The status log and quantity log keep the history, and the ledger holds the posted view.
- Orders from outside. Webshop orders are reviewed on the Webshop Order List before they become contracts. Subscriptions are converted through the Convert Subscriptions page.
